Troop 8 will be heading to Uwharrie National Forest for a backpacking trip. We plan to spend Friday night at the normal campgrounds, then backpacking in Saturday morning. We will spend the night on the trail then backpack out Sunday Morning.

Troop 8 will be camping at the Jordan Lake Reservoir in Hope Valley NC. We will be borrowing canoes from Camp Tuscarora so that scouts can conoe and fish on Saturday. 

This weekend Troop 8 will be attending the Wings Over Wayne Airshow at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. We will be spending Friday and Saturday night at the campgrounds on base. Saturday afternoon we will watch the air show on base featuring the Thunderbirds.
