Calendar

Troop 8 is a year round scout troop that meets every week and has an outdoor activity every month of the year, including many service projects and other scouting related events.  Weather permitting, and depending upon camping safety, we average 20-24 camping nights per year including an additional 6 night "long campout" for summer camp or high adventure outing.  In addition to our troop activities, scouts have other opportunities to participate such as the "Order of the Arrow",  the honor society of scouting and the activities that go with its membership. Troop 8 also participates in other council hosted events such as the National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) course, and other contingent camping opportunities with other Troops.

Below, you will see our Troop calendar. Our calendar is made by the PLC (Patrol Leaders Council). The PLC has a meeting every month, where they come up with the monthly campouts and weekly meetings.
